Reach other networks with Pagero
To enable our customers to reach as many other companies as possible in both the private and public sectors, we have interoperability agreements with a large number of other operators on the market. Check out the sections below to learn more about what interoperability actually is and to see a selection of our interoperability agreements.
What is interoperability?
Interoperability is the ability of different systems, often in a computer context, to communicate with each other.
In our industry, interoperability relates to service providers creating connections between their platforms or networks so that their clients can communicate with each other. The aim is to offer clients the largest reach possible, so that they can maximise their electronic flows regardless of the service provider their business partners have chosen.
Think about the telecom industry. No matter which network operator you have chosen, you want to be able to call people who use other operators. It is possible because the operators have roaming agreements, which is the same as interoperability agreements.
Not all service providers in our industry prioritise interoperability, so it is important to look into how they have chosen to work with this aspect before selecting your operator.
